Hello and welcome! I do lots of things mostly centered around the performing arts—acting, playing music, writing, composing, directing, producing, researching, mentoring—and culture/cultural production.
My wife and I make videos about Kenyan and American culture, and I also have a series talking about interesting New York City things. Of course, there is also original music, performances, and so on.
Most of my work tends to be rooted in my understanding and practice of theatre. I have been fortunate to have work performed or presented across the U.S. as well as internationally.
The performing arts are my passion, and I love to teach about it as much as I love doing it. With many years of experience as a theatre teacher, vocal coach, and music tutor (and a few years in K-12 and higher education), I can help get you where you want to be—no matter your age or level of experience!
Trained as an actor and a musician, I am equally at home on stage or screen as I am behind a music stand. Character work and accents are a strength of mine, and I get a lot of joy out of connecting with an audience, no matter the project.
